the bassline from that fats tune is in a different league, soulful & melodic while this bassline just seems ordinary & a bit cheesy, like track a on that Budapest EP which everyone was loving imo

Yep I'd agree with that, for me it's all about the B side.
However, If you're worried about playing cheesy tunes I suggest you have a long hard look at your tune selection.

The break on Reunited is much better than Hold the Moment IMO, for me it makes it a better tune...
the Fats tune is cheeeeeeeesey as fuck if you ask me; then there's the flip :poopslay:

the A side is a bit standard but still better than 95% of d&b out there right now, and the B-side is wickedy boomting...in my humble opinion!

All Fats tunes are cheesy IMO
but he is a heavy vocalist tho...
