BBC censored the Live 8 concerts

Did anyone watch the recent series showing behind the scenes of Live 8 in July?

I thought it was pretty shabby that the Beeb cut away from showing the footage and messages which were displayed on the screen behind bands because they were 'too political'...

Unlike Children In Need and Comic Relief this event wasn't intent on raising money, just awareness, and as a result they cropped stage shots to avoid showing all those statistics...

Ain't that dark?

Quite funny though how stressed they were getting about the event over-running for fear of people missing trains etc and a zillion people being stranded on the streets overnight!

But ya gotta give props to Bob Geldof.

Didnt know that - truly sickening. Bob's work is legendary, it's a travesty to have this kind of thing censored.

Highlight was Robbie Williams:

Personally I reckon he can fuck on, hes one of the only man who gets the government listening when it comes to trying to tidy up this messy world a bit.

He appears very passionate about wanting to get shit moving.
