None other than HUEY, front man and producer of the legendary Fun Lovin’ Criminals, and his 10 year DJ companion MATEO will be touching down to spin the best in Hip Hop, rock and party flavours on MON 6th FEBRUARY at The Zodiac.
Mateo is not only the bands tour DJ but also a regular on the NYC party scene spinning alongside the likes of Mark Ronson at all the hot spots such as Bungalow 8, Bed and many more. Huey is the main man behind all the great FLC tracks as well as the voice. Hear him Rock it live at Rocket!
This show is guaranteed to rock the party and bring a special crowd from all the indie / hip hop lovers to the bands European fans.
Fun Lovin’ Criminals won international acclaim and great success in the 90s for their mix of blues, funk and rap scoring eight hit singles, most famously the Pulp Fiction sampling “Scooby Snacks”.
Still releasing records, the New York three piece remain an inventive, relevant band as well as providing an exciting live show. The group’s exceptional musical ability is the perfect backdrop for Huey’s smooth delivery and immense charisma, a characteristic he is sure to display both behind the decks and on the mic!
