MOAN ABOUT PRIVELEDGES...

I don't grumble to often. But, the priveledge superiority issue is beginning to annoy me! Namely the edit button.

It's accepted that some people are considered superior, but is it fair to take away common forum features and only allow those 'hand picked' from applications to use them? Some common criteria to meet would be fairer maybe.

This probably seems very chilidish to some (namely silvers). But it's also annoying for everyone else, blatantly.

I hope this post doesn't offend anyone, if it does, sorry! There's nothing I can do about it!

Yes but it's whether those reasons are good enough, and if they're not we loose out on features we had before.

ok i agree that loosing the ability to edit your posts is a bit gay, its more of a basic need than a privelage

its not up to us who ceeee decides to make a silver member

OBVIOUSLY everybody should be allowed to edit their own posts... I have no idea why ceedee has disabled this feature. For the record, I strongly vote to free the edit button for normal members, and I am not so attached to my silver membership that m life would be over without it :lol:

Also for the record, the only priviledges we have so far is the edit button (shock) and a separate forum which has a total of about 4 threads in it, which are basically all along the lines of "aren't we great!"

ceedee bring back the edit button for all :D

True. The "special" room for "silver" members only isn't that great, think it's just so we can check out special offers ? !

A divide isn't actually intentialy created. I presume that we will eventually get more privilages and then can also help in the maintenance of the site. That's all I can think of ?

Hi everyone.

These user groups really weren't intended to bring hierachy into the forum - I thought they'd just be a bit of a laugh and maybe encourage people to use the forum more to get better features themselves. At no point did I intentionally withdraw any privileges you all had as standard members, and if I did accidentally then I'm sorry about that.

In light of this, I've abolished all user groups because I don't want to annoy anyone - silver members, please don't think you're losing anything. If you lose anything, it's the resentment that was given to you by apparently more standard members - which is a good thing to lose.

Everyone now has the same privileges and rights, so it should be a happier place to be!

Hello?! The problem wasn't with others getting extra Privileges(!) That wouldn't have bothered me in the slightest. The issue was with the regulars loosing what we already had!! You obviously didn't understand :blink: Never mind, all's back to normal now :) all's good.
