Dj fu first passion was to be a wedding dj but not having much sucess he went to hmv and brought all the drum and bass 3 for £10 offers. He lives the life of a 100% bum and his walls are lined with empty record boxes, empty beer cans and mouldy mugs. He has managed to fall totally off the dnb ladder without the help of alcohol. This is the second gig i've found out about today through FTB that i am ment to be playing at but not on the lineup. It's frustrating when i'm trying to organize stuff

The email you sent me was very vague. I assumed that it was a chain mail, and that a reply was not needed. As there was no specific reference to me playing or that you wanted me to. I didn't receive any line ups or potential line ups from you...

Its about time someone booked Fu i think, it is good to see that finally someone is bringing him to oxford and flawless too i guess, dont remember him djing in oxford either.

Just a couple of points i'd like to add, as a promoter. A mid week night with the drinks at weekend prices may put a lot of people off coming - maybe some selected cheaper drinks. £5 for one/any drink as i recall

Door prices are looking a hell of a lot better this term, although again as a midweek night majority of the people out and about in oxford are students always good to keep this in mind (i.e. NUS usually helps if advertised).

Finally one of the main problems with love is how these highly publicised dj's cant be seen by the majority of people on the dancefloor - hence the sound always needs to be spot on so they can be heard on a crisp system. It seems there were problems with this early on last term but seems like its getting better

Anyway thats just my 2 cents

ENOUGH! I remember going back when it was @ The Cellar previous and its never been as good @ Ponana IMO.

Awesome night. Busy with a nice crowd. Sound was spot on, good sets all round from what I can remember, esp flawless. lol @ Stumasta and Scarletts shutdown sessions.

Big up FU and the rest of the Hit and Run boys and girls for putting on another quality night, big things for 2006.
