STAMINA MC (v, movement, uk)

hosted by MC JAY
Red Zone is back in 2006 for their third night in the rebuilt
Effenaar venue. Tonight we highlight the widespread sounds
of two key producers in today's drum 'n bass : Marcus
Intalex and D-Bridge.
Manchester-based Marcus Intalex has always been a
producer who perfectly translates his influences of Detroit /
Chicago / broken beats and 80s/90s Manchester rave music
into his dnb. Known for bringing "the soul back into the
music", his large discography includes many drum 'n bass
highlights. Alongside Calibre and ST Files, Marcus is
currently putting the finishing touches on their Mistical
debut album on Soul:r due for release at the end of
april. His second label Revolve:r is currently presenting
a string of singles called "DAT music project" which will
eventually also be released as a mixed CD by Marcus. (ft.
Red Zone's Martyn amongst others)
After parting with Bad Company a couple of years ago,
D-Bridge has established himself as being a top producer in
his own right. With his label Exit Records, and lots of
projects for other labels, he's made his mark with music he
likes to call "aggressively beautiful" : soulful music with a
gritty edge. Stamina mc is the voice of Movement, the
wellknown weekly night in London's Bar Rumba. He was
also involved in numerous recording projects of which
Marky's "LK" is the most known.
Martyn, Nymfo and Pressure will bring their personal
selections to the table to provide a varied warm up so be
early! Mc Jay will be your host and Erosie did all
flyer/poster art and decoration. See you all there!
