Hearty apologies for the cross post- could put this up in pretty much any of the forums on this 'ere website, what with them skipping accross genres as they please:
Coldcut are playing live with MCs Mike Ladd and M'Pho Skeef on Friday 17 February at the Zodiac, with support from DJ BarryDark.
Total legends and pioneers of sampled dance music, the O.G. (not O.C.) much heralded Journey by DJ compilation, and that's without even beginning to mention what they've pioneered visually. Think Hextatic +++++. Pretty unmissable in my books.
Fairly likely to sell out I reckon, but advance tickets available here:

Nice one Monsieur le Rogue.
Madz- to be honest- a don't really think there should be a choice to flip. See some of the most pioneering live audio visual dance music you're ever likely to see + 2 quality Hip Hop MCs, or go and see a DJ play some familiar records in an order you've not heard before.
Know dat.

Erm. Sorry- don't know what you're referring to here. Don't run nights in Oxford, though I understand the politics of D & B nights there is complicated at best.
Apologies if I've unwittingly dissed someone's night.
Obviously not the intentionion. My point is simply that you Oxfordians have a chance of seeing a bloody amazing live act. In my books, something of Coldcut's calibre tends to smack the shit out of pretty much any DJ. End of.
