Essential Festival as in the one they used to do on Hackney Marshes and in Bristol?
That hasn't fun in about the last 3-4 years I think

Essential Festival is kind of ropey... pretty badly organised.... so i don't think it will be on this year after all the complaints from the last one in Bristol...
Good line up on this one though...

I will definitely come to this, I was thinking literally 2 days ago that I'd like to see massive attack live.
My prayers have been answered! There is definitely someone up there :)

Essential Festival Liquidated (for about the 3rd time in its history) in 2002. The organisers booked a load of top acts (Busta Rhymes, Pharoah Monch, De La Soul, James Brown etc. etc.) without having any $$$s to pay them. Always had quality line-ups, but was never really a *great* festival.
Defo tempted by the prospect of Massive Attack live, and the rest are nee-too-bad. Probs see which other festivals and the like they get booked for before making a decisionez though.
