Yeah I reckon so mate, there's definitely enough bassheads in the Oxford area now.

But where? I wonder if the council would allow a 6 o'clock licence.... you know what Oxford City Council is like!

Yea i think it would do alright - u just have to find a decent venue! (spending 9 hours in somewhere like the zodiac on NYE doesnt really appeal! lol)

Well there's always gonna be other mans doing parties. SO WHAT?!
Just because other people run nights wouldn't stop me from organising something.

Do it John!

Sounds like it could be a winner if you get the phat artists...

If you can get that late a license you could have a huge lineup...
Bring it on. B)

what venue in Oxford would be able to have a 6am granted? that would rock!!

i guess the coven will be the gay night
the zodiac would be an inhouse event
i guess the jam factory is the only place?!?

Only if it was a good venue and that's hard to come by in Oxford.

sure man i agree, i mean the zodiac is ok, just needs a clean. park end could be awesome but it's owned by some huge leisure club conglomorate. the coven needs to be rebuilt. there is the new arena/genesis/club format place on cowley road but i've not been in there yet.

my fave venue..... is the cellar.. bar the bouncer, hehe.

Apparently the new club looks good. I have not seen it yet though.

With regards to Park End. Have to wait yet but does that count as a bank holiday NYE ? If so theny, MAYBE, Republica may be at PArk End that night anyway. Can't account for there being DnB in there yet or what would be going on there anyway but that could happen.

Plus, there could be plans already for an alnighter. If there ended up being twop then that would be a nightmare.

I dunno. I personaly don't think you could pull it off in Oxford.

Prove me wrong :D

I think u could pull it off, definitely!! DNB is popular enough these days -just look how much of it there is in oxford!! And how many ppl go outta oxford to get their fix?

I think it would. Im just not sure i wouldnt be somewhere bigger n better. Oxfords just not got the venues. Even S.U is wicked lil venue but.....its not q club/coronet/sanctuary :)

I personally disagree. I don't think it would work at all. Most people save up cash to make the new year something to be remembered. Hence the proper heads dusting to London or Birmingham etc etc.

The dome sessions have been legendary

I think it could work, specially with a late licsense! :) Your best bet for a venue, is to go the whole hog, and do it outside in Marques, get a few Marques together, a few music genres not just D&B! :) Then your attract a bigger crowd guarenteed, alot of peeps would definately be up for it. Don't worry about other nights going on, do your own thing & do it good, and they'll be no problems! :) Keep us posted!

I think it'll be worth it mate, as not everyone's got £30-£50 plus expenses for NYE, so they'll want summat good to go to locally! :)

it's funny when you're watching some quiz shoe and you get some grazy arsed answer right, like who was king of spain between 1512 and 1549... and you get right and you're like what the fuck?

the brain is amazing.. and to think we only use a fraction of it...

apparently we use less than 10% of our brains... that leaves us with 90% of untapped energy !

imagine trying to harness or control that !

as far as levitation, etc. goes... meditation can help focus all that type of energy :D

i reckon levitation can be one

teleporting ones self seems a little more complicated... splitting atoms, transorting them thru time/space and reassembling is gonna take a hell of alot of brain power!

the brain is an amazing tool, scientists havent even scratched the surface!

Mate, my mums partner is the Southwests teacher of Trancendental Meditation!
The poor bastard had to put up with Mikee fucking Merge 'n' C bedroom mixing from 1993 - 1997! :D

If meditation really does reduce stress then without it the geezer would have surely had a nervous breakdown!

Big him up for sticking by mum throughout having me as a stepson! Hahaha!

Anyway... That's beside the point.
