Just thought id let you all know Old School in Gloucester Green run a poker night every monday night. You need to be there by 8 and ask at the bar to be entered,£10 entry, comes with a free drink, bar snacks, and every now and again table service. Ive been going for the last couple of weeks and its a good way to spend a monday night. And for anyone wondering, this isnt inside advertising!!!!

sounds interesting. what sort of poker and what's the ability of the players like, have you won yet?

I went last week for the first time. £10 to get in + a free drink and you can win up to £200. Came out with £50 after doing a deal with someone I was sure was straight out of latenight poker. You end up smoking aobut twice as many fags as usual on top of the beer intake. Magic. See you there on Monday.

yeah the standard is alright , ranges alot its all fun. first time i went i came second which was alright, i reckon its better playing better players though coz u arent going to get muppet calls. yeah youre right about the fags though. id given up until i started playing again lol! but worth a visit definately, seems to be getting bigger every week...
