Guys, just been having a reet laugh at me goldfish, he's got wind or summit and he's floatuing about on the surface sideways... He's trying to swim to the bottom, but when he gets there, he just floats to the top again!
how come he can cope with weed but not his proper food?

He has float bladder by the sounds of it. Your fish will survive but I think it will stay for good.

Ok laugh all you like, but I used to work at Water World in Bicester. Your goldfish sounds like it's suffering from a lack of oxygen, is there a pump in its tank/bowl.
Call me a geek, but i'm trying to help your fishy.
I like fishies, I bought blerg two for his birthday!:)

nah, there's no need for a pump according to the bloke from the shop, it's a fucking great tank with one fish...
don't worry, i've done everything i can for the little lad, he seems better this morning.
i reckon he had a fart trapped behind some poo or summit..

i nealry killed my fish today - was emptying the water a bit with the force of gravity and a tube while i was on my pc. it was a good thing i had work otherwise i prob wouldnt have looked round for long enough for them to drown in non water

Ben you've done really well so far, fancy goldfish usually die after a fortnight!

to put things as simple as i can,
B) the fish are still alive
B) fish live in water and breath the oxygen in it through there gills (unless i forget there pump for a few days, then its nothing but glub glub on the surface for hourse when yur trying to sleep!)
B) birds fly in the air and breath that.
B) swap the 2 around and darwin has some serious explaining to do
B) technically penguins 'fly' through the water and eat fish. some clever person can explain how they breath (in and out)
B) penguins live in the zoo and i have no idea what this is to do with them
B) i emptyed the tank using a natural pump (i suppose you could call a plastic pipe that)
B) i forgot i was empyting the fishys
B) they have 2 tails and bulgy eyes
B) i am habving no luck with fish cam :(
did yuo really expect that to be simple???

Ta Ben :)
I was just taking the Oxford definition of drown/fly in to consideration. I'd ask you to not complicate things but that would be a rediculous request.
You wouldn't be you any other way.
