Anyone got any tips?

We looking to stay in either Paphos (Cyprus) or Albufeira (Algarve)

I've found one 4star hotel in Paphos :: £800 for 2 people, 2 weeks inc flights - that's pretty good ennit?

Wasn't feeling Cyprus when I went, not as cheap as I'd imagined.

The Algarve is definately worth checking out. One of my favourite spots in Europe. Good weather, nice building, beaches, cheap everything, food, drink, fags :headbang:

I reckon for your money you'll be able to find something dope on the Algarve. We "slummed" it in Portugese style hostels - they were fucking amazing, beuatiful old building huge rooms, spot on....

Have you thought about going independently? getting a cheap flight and then finding a hotel on the internet? some times works out cheaper, but depends where you're going really, somewhere like cyprus is quite popular and you might get good deals anyway.

My advice depends on what type of holiday you want - are you a get pissed and lie on the beach getting skin cancer type person or a bit of a culture vulture?

I loved Paphos although I'd suggest you need to hire some transport to check out the best bits.

I guess it's all a matter of taste really.

I want a decent swimming pool, gf wants a nice beach. We wanna be able to relax when we want to but we wanna be able to go out to good clubs/bars when we want to too...

I went to the Algarave a few years ago, a place called Alvor that was really nice. The beaches there were amazing...
We're lookin for holidays at the minute, found a few cheapies, £280 for a week to Kos, Faliraki (which I dont really wana go to), Malia etc..

I want a half decent room to be honest, balcony is almost essential.

We were told the Algarve is a really good place to go for nice beaches & good nightlife too, espec Albrufiera

You can rent my ol dears brand new built villa in Northern Cyprus if you want. Stones throw from the beach...

Probably cost you an arm and a leg tho. lol.

Been to both mate an I'd say Albufiera is much more what you are looking for if your choosing between the two.
