NEWS UPDATE for LEICESTER this friday

Right folks, change of Mini Bus, we have a different Mini Bus now, we're driving it ourselves, well Mark is anyway (Dunno if any of you's knows him) but yeh, Air Conditioned, CD Player!!! Should be a laugh! It's a 9 seater, so if anyone else wanted to come..sorry, but there ain't room :P

Right the official roll call for who's going is as follows:

If everyone meets at mine, for about 7ish, as we gotta leave earlish as Juicy & Melodize are playing first I think?

It goes on till bout 4am, but we'll leave about 3am, as alot of us have work! :)

To be honest it was a bit different, but wholly enjoyable. a bit messy in places but the whole thing was worthwhile !

We arrived about 10pmish having miraculously got to leicester - massive respect to mark for getting us there :D

It was a smallish club - about 200 capacity over two rooms - the upstairs was more like a back to the core underground rave and downstairs was more of a chill out and listen to the music room.

Upstairs was heaving with mcs and at times sounded a bit like a lot of men shouting at times !

From the massive back to back selection though the likes of Zee, Jaff, PM, and G1 stood out for me.

Also met Karen G and Devise who played a very twisted set in the downstairs room with loads of fresh cuts all of which were sick !

In the upstairs room the sound for most of the night was based around that twisted/ hazzard style - ok for a bit but it gets a bit grating after a while !

Myself and Vyper came on the decks around 2.15 and rinsed it properly till 3am accompanied by the mighty Jay Stonerz and PM on the microphone - Respect Due !

then the journey home ! well what can i say... having thought that we took a wrong turning but managing to keep it from the rest of the bus - they were asleep! phew. we saw a sign for the M42. i have never been so relieved :D

Many many thanks to Mark for driving and to Tim and Mikee who kept us entertained when we stopped to fill the minibus up with petrol ! :wacko:

A quality night if you ask me !

Maximum boost to all the DJs and MCs who attended and to Marc Disfunction for putting on the night ! Roll on the next one...

Was way too stoned to be meeting all these ppl. Woulda liked to have chatted to Karen!

As the nite went on the mcs started being crap with the mic. If they cant share it like adults it should jus be on@at a time!! That said was some good mcin as well. Best set obviously goes to raw n vyper and karan & devize hehe.

Absolute respect to Mr C for driving there, and back, and returning minibus and then...going to work driving all day! Also to Raw for keepinm him awake n stoned, navigating and for sorting minibus out when we got back!!! Nice One!!!!

Hi guy's post here from Juicy and Melodize. Like to say it was a good night in Leicester . Looking forward to the next gig. Be good to get extra support from everyone on the next one. Like Raw said it was it was an entertaining evening on the whole. I hope Mikee's got no grunges against us i know the situation with booze and traveling long distance. I'll keep my mouth shut next time! Serious need of more Mc's for next night to represent oxford. Lets get serious crew up there for the next one.

Was a top night, definately glad we made the effort. Definatly not organising a Mini Bus again, unless there's definate yes's from peeps...Grrr ;)

As the crew that attentened have said it was a good night, the MC situation got a bit much @ times, but there was some that shone through..namely Zee, Jaff & PM, big up to Jay Stonerz for getting on the mic eventually! :)

Shuffla & Manikular I hope will be in attendence next time, to make sure peeps know that not all MCing has to be like Shabbba! :lol:

Some good sts from the other DJ's....too many DJ's were dropping Twisted Individual/Hazzard tunes...it wouldn't have been so bad, if the tunes were diffirent...but the same tunes did get rinsed...still there's was some good tunage going, specially from Raw & Myself! :D :D. Shame we got there too late for Melodize & Juicy to reprazent, one day everyone will be ready on time...tut tut :)

Was good to Hook up with Karen G & Devise...two save as fuck peeps, plus a fucking wicked set! D

The mini Bus journey was quality, very entertaining to say the least...:P Well done to Mark C for doing a wicked job on the driving front & Raw keeping mark sorta focused, with those J's...and Dodgy directions! :)

Looking forward to the next one, i'll keep you posted
