Liquid Baby has been cancelled

Untill further notice, we are concentrating on our monthly, HQ.

We are too busy/lazy to promote a weekly Monday event, plus the fact that we are not sure many people in Oxford would want to come and see Teebee, which is a bit of a shame.

actually dave, one of the best liquid sets i've ever seen was teebee... he is a master of both ends of the spectrum.

and it's not 100% definite that the night is off.

well liquid baby isn't just my night, far from it.. the entity belongs to five of us, however the main problems were that as 4 of the consortium work it was hard to get postering etc. plus the fact that mattrick was away on his holidays and the other folks had other things going on..

liquid baby could have a place in oxford, i'm sure of that but maybe on a different night of the week and perhaps a venue with less sound restrictions!

it's all about HQ now for me, a monthly event would allow me to give it my undivided attention!

yeah it was pretty cool mate... always a gamble putting on events over the summer but the cellar is a good venue in a good location so should do ok..

if we can do well then i'm consdiering drafting in some of the sound system to beef it up.. i mean the rig in the cellar is ok [electrovoice] but it could really do with a few bins in there just to take the strain off the current set up so we can eq it tighter.

the beauty with HQ is that it's not strictly liquid, nor strictly dark.. we can play qulaity d&b whatever it's particular persuasion.

I would say the only thing [*****I think*****] puts off people is the prices of drinks and the lack of places to sit in Baby, not the music!

I was gutted to miss Dylan, man a respect alot! :) I hear the night was pretty damn heavy, so i'm even more gutted, but I had to do my thing in Leicester, will definately be up for Ratty & the next one! :D

Gutted... i'd told a few ppl about barbaby @work who are from cowley -we were gonna meet up there one wk instead of doing crappy pub lunches that over run massively.

Good luck with the rest of the stuff anyway! ITs nice to get some different names down. the whole rave line up djs been rinsed to death! (well bar a few! ) But u kno what i mean, its nice to have sommat less mainstream.
