anybody know any other estate agent's websites other than:

brandforandbingley.co.uk
hodsons.co.uk
thmoasmerrifield.co.uk

i've exhuasted the resources of these sites, and i would search for some more but all of the search engines have been blocked from work due to a virus scare (long story)

help would be appreciated ;)

is it for renting or buying mate?

we used thams merrifield when we bought planet manikular and i was very happy with the service recieved. i'll probably use them again as my first refference point when i move again shortly!! [providing i stay within the confines of an area serviced by them of course!]

is for renting

Thomas Merrifield are good agents but their website sucks, half of the details are missing! I actually know the Merrifields, they used to be friends with our next door neighbours in Didcot. The son, James, I never liked, but the daughter Jodie was okay :)

anyway, thats one of my claims to fame lol

looks like it's gunna be Bicester or Oxford for the time being :)

have you considered kidlington??? kinda inbetween but with better transportation links and amenities than bicester and cheaper rent than oxford itself...

will indeed consider it!

cheers for the advice B)

no worries bro... it's all about the 24 bus service into oxford combines with the 24 hour sainsburys

what more can you wish for?!?

it's looking like Bicester for now, for various reasons. mainly the fact that it'll be a 2 bedroom semi-detached house, cos it's so cheap there :) (maybe)

however, there was also a nice flat in didcot that's just been refurbished completely. looked kind of familiar... almost as if I'd lived there before..... ;) :D

Hi Bekit,

Try www.fish4lettings.co.uk
and www.chancellors.co.uk

But beware of Chancellors, my experience of them is - shall we say - less than adequate.

Good luck!

cheers chris, but it's pretty much sorted now :) I've looked at this house twice now and i like it & the location is good (train station access by jumping over the back garden fence!)

should all be going down in the next week i hope

sweet!

is that bicester north or town station?

vice
30th June 2003, 08:58 AM
it's the small one - but you can get to oxf and didcot throughout the day / early evening no problem, but getting back later at night might involve the bigger station... which still aint too far away :)

there was a small problem with the next door neighbour, who has built an illegal driveway and refuses to let anyone park infront of it. apparently he has no planning permission, so the council may get a call if he gives me any grief :P

lol

i'd ave thought you could get to oxford from any train station in oxfordshire !!?!?

the small station is funny, im surprised trains even remember to stop there, but apparently they do!

@ Ov3rkill, a house warming for a select group may be in order, as long as you lot can be arsed to mission to Bicester, and treat the place with some respect! :D
