Pretty sure my amp is ready for the bin, but thought i'd check see if anyone else had any bright ideas before i buy a new one :)
Right channel has died completely, i've tried swapping over speakers and its definitely the channel on the amp. It doesnt matter whether it's the cd player or my decks or my tape player, so rules out cables and mixer issues. It's not the fuses, so therefore can we safely assume it's bust?

have you replaced the internal fast fuses.......most amps will have two external fuses then a series of internal fast fuses these are designed to protect the different circuits from power surges that you get from 240v Dc try testing the fuse points with a multi meter (use the continuity test on the meter this will tell you if you have a broken link in the circuit) if you dont have a complete circuit test for the resistance of capacitors along the circuit after a while you will proably come across a capacitor which shows no resistance. This will be the problem...is it a power amp or a hi fi amp....if its hi fi i doubt its worth fixing...depending on what has gone it will be expensive to replace individiual components on the circuit board. I've got a couple of power amps kicking about that I might sell...pm me if you are interested.
