toothache !

ok for those that don't know, i had all my wisdom teeth removed last july... just come off the tablets that i was on since november and for the last two nights i've seen 3am !

it's driving me up the fucking wall. i've tried codeine, diazapan, sleeping pills, night nurse, pot, accupuncture and practically anything else that i can get my hands on and my jaw and head still hurt !

i've been to the hospital before but if this continues i'm going back to get a head transplant...

has anyone got any other suggestions... i'll try ANYTHING !

try sueing the fuck out of your dentist for causing you a fuck load of pain for the last yr

i cant think of what exact charges yu could bring against them, but a lawyer woul. and i bet you'd win!

ive got a fucking scar on my lip thanx to my dentist (cunt) i was too small to do anything about it, but i DEFFINATELY remember saying to my mum we should sue him at the time. but once again cos i was small my opinion got ignored...

i think that's part of the problem to tell you the truth. when the teeth were coming through they were pushing on the nerve endings - a condition known as a neuralgia i think...

i'm gonna ask for a head transplant i reckon. probably the simplest option...

i know diazapam knock you out. they knocked me for six when i took 'em. & the tablets that i was on beat the shit out of most sleeping tablets !

i just don't really want to be an nhs prescription junkie for the rest of my life...

im SURE you could get away with sueing some one for this pain theyve caused you over the last yr

they had been hurting for about the past 6-8 years on and off. when i kept mentioning it to my dentist, he said that there was nothing wrong and that wisdom teeth do hurt when they are coming through.

i've done a bit of reading on this too..

current government guidance indicates that wisdom teeth should only be removed in cases where they are causing problems... since there was nothing visibly wrong with mine they didn't take them out when they first started hurting.

to be honest i'm not actually bothered about the money i might get if i sued. i'm more interested in stopping my head from hurting.

i know that they are out because i've got them in a jar at home !

it's just my brain doesn't want to accept that fact !

had a look on bbc site. was shit all they offered was this:

man... i feel sorry for all you people, I go to the dentist every 6 months and I've never had a single problem. they only take teeth out if they're going to cause you more pain in the future, they aint trying to hurt you... they are trying to save you from pain!

Raw, other than morphine or heroin, I don't think you can go much further down the painkiller route :(

ps. sueing a dentist!!!???? lol...! think of the pain you would get if they didn't do their work on you, and your tooth went rotten and gums started bleeding...

the stupid prick broke my tooth in half trying to get it out... had to scalpul my gum, get the rest out then stitch me back up... and teh rubber block he put in my mouth to keeo it open cos i was shitting myself about it was too big, and now i have a scar on my bottom lip that has been there for at least 8 yrs...

OK, so i think i've found out what's wrong with my mouth. apparently it's called a trigeminal neuralgia. which basically means that the trigeminal nerve is playing up. this nerve is a major nerve which runs through your cheekbone area...

it's not uncommon post operation and basically what happens is that some object (could be food or whatever) gets between the gum and teeth and finds its way into the nerve itself.

It is one of THE most excruating pains ever and has been known to drive people insane :wacko: well not actually minaminamental but pretty damn close !

Anyhow hopefully the scan will pick this up & within a few weeks i'll be back to being on top form !
