i have 2 probs hopefully someone can sort out for me
how can you record streams with it? ive heard it can be done....
and... how do you put track markers into your mix so you can swap from track to track on a cd player?

when you say streams do you mean record a realtime set from your decks?

you need to get a stream ripper... such as streambox...

as for stream ripping, ive heard yuou can set wavelab to 'record anything' ill have to do more searching and asking...
so anyone know about the track markers then?

i don't use wavelab, i use cool edit and sound forge, you can set track markers on both.. you need to be sure to ensure you cd burning tools don't but gaps in the mix too. . .
i'll take a look at wavelab when i'm back home and suss it out for you bro.

just recorded a stream in soundforge... i take it the procedure is similar to that in wavelab although i haven't actually tried it.
what you need to to do is this:
your pc soundcard should have some kind of software mixer attached to it. there should be a record option on this. what you need to do is set the record on the internal mixer to mp3/ wav & hey presto, you should be able to record the stream directly from the net.
