Think most people probably know about this now, but pretty dark news to wake up to.

Not sure what i think of the no handluggage thing thou - fair enough in some respects ie phones, laptops, and i suppose even liquids - but surely taking a book with you to read wouldnt hurt? it's all gotta be xrayed anyway?
apparently heathrow is closed for incoming flights as well, so gonna be a lot of people stranded abroad trying to get home!

It does suck but I personally would prefer them to be as vigilant as they see fit...........would rather be bored on the plane than blow up!

There's no bloody way I would check my laptop into the hold - if I had to go to europe now I'd get on Eurostar and I expect lots of other businesses would too. Time to buy shares!!!
