Is it just me? Or do a lot of today's up and coming MC's sound *too* similar to the premier league MC's?!
What ever happened to originality?
Any minute now....

using words which are in the dictionary is good too, maybe I'm being a bit old here, but "biddibiddibiddi woof woof woof arf rinseout" doesn't really make much sense to me. Anyone wanna translate for me?
MC's are supposed to say stuff to hype up the crowd, and unless the crowd are a bunch of sheep, I doubt "woof woof woof" is gonna get them very excited.
:)

beatmixing is so much easier than mcing [well]
i agree.. bididididid bollocks is just a total lark
but the new breed are coming through right now.. SP, DRS, Verse and Stamina have really done great things over the last 12-18 months!

it might take a month or two to make up some rhymes, but it can take years to learn to mix
mc's all get too preictable in my opinion, once you've heard them you know their lyrics and the way they flow
mixing (well) takes far superior skill (in my opinion)
im just stating a point here, both you and 'how low' mix, which i already knew

too many ppl wanna sound like shabba~!!! why I dont know hehe! Maybe they think he's cool or sommat!
Or just wanna be as loaded as he is. Maybe jus cos ppl learn thru immatation??
I guess when you go to london and places you get a mixture of races in the mc's -all who have different styles influences and voices. Here the mcs are mainly same sort of ppl. In the same way we'd get bored hearing the same sort of tunes in a set (thinks twisted, distorted, clipz n hazard) you
get bored of the same mcing too.....
Also dont really think mc's b2b works well ...Okay so you can pass the mic when your havin a breather...but the crowd need a breather too! Dont wanna hear MCing for 95% of the nite! When theres a few ppl waiting to get on the mic it means there is constantly someone on there -because as soon as someon takes a break there's someone waiting to take it off their hands.
I do actually like mcs - but done properly!
Hello PM by the way. We met in leceister if its the same guy! Hope to see u mc'in in oxford soon mate :)

all "hosts" who read the crowd well and interact. I would have put myself in the list but that would have been pretty big headed lol

Yeah...
At the moment I can rate MC SP, 2 Shy, Flyte, Navigator, Palma Da Charma, Dynamite, Conrad, DRS, Manikular [:)], Sandman, Liebo, Easty, Shuffla, MJ and Playa J most...
There are others of course...
I'm just gettin tired of people like ***, ********, ********, ****** * and ****** because most of their lyrics haven't changed since 1994 and they seem to let the crowd say most of it for them!

beat mixing is easy, its gettin the right flow of a set, that's the hard part (well thats what i reckon)
i find it really funny when i jump on the decks in front of people who only know me for mcing they give you a look like "he aint meant to be doing that".
