Bryan G is the king ! Well not really but the man has well earned respect from so many ravers. Tune selection impecable and well upfront or should I say infront of the times.

I'm gonna rinse him out tho :lol: Maybe not.

System was easier to mix on last time which showed with the set qualities from all DJ's.

Can only get better imo. Word up :D

So will there be another night in Oxford put on at the same time as this one ?

Everyone should know by now that this was coming so hopefully not :)

Hmmmm. Sorry for seeming like a moody fool early on in the night. I think it was kind of nerves mixed in with the fact I wasn't feeling good at all. Made it through my set alright all the same and was happy to see loads of people there. One thing I did notice which in a way I was a little bit gutted about was that I could of probably played a set of Twisted tunes and the crowd would be just as happy ?? Nevermind !! I was thinking "Well, I've got a few fresh tunes and some nice old ones that should go down well" Ok, however well they did go down well, I was not expecting Bryan G to come along and completely clean the place up ! That man had the most unbelievable tunes ! It may be because I haven't heard that much recent stuff but I mean there was a sick Hazard tune plus a tune with what was a decieving nice female vocal but then dropped an insane bassline which just killed it ! Big Ups to everyone that made it down, I'd mention names but there's too many ! You know who you are. After the end of my set, my few stresses went away so I could just have a few drinks and enjoy the night !! Word !! :D

yeah it was great apart from the usual sound problems with monitoring for the mics etc... i had to play bodyguard for one of my mates who was getting hassle from an ex so in the end i had to make she got home ok... then i missed my fecking bus home so had to pay for a taxi back.. grrr!

i hope you guys broke even, you put in alot of hard work :]

Like seeing the coven busier, makes such a difference!!!

you couldn't hear the mcs becuase ed kept turning them down. which is quantifiable becuase some mcs are alot louder than others, my main bone of copntention about going back to back with people is that i don't scream down the mic so 2 mics are always good!

nice to see all the heads down there! sorry i wasn't more social, i was in bodyguard mode for most of the night!

also props to the birmingham and leamington spa crews in full effect!

Bryan rips it up everytime I hear him, the man has the dubs alright!!! :D Niceone to see Manikular, Shuffla & MJ all reprazenting, shame we couldn't always hear the MC's....I couln't even hear Eksman....

Most fucked up part of the nite, was the girl who was mashed, on the floor near where I was sitting & some kid on top of her trying it on...when the girl was in no state to tell what was going on...you couldn't been on another planet...she wouldn't have know...freaked me out anyway...I was gonna get this kid off her...but a bouncer beat me to it.... only at the coven..:lol:

All in all a quality nite, wish I hadn't smoked quite as much before coming out, as it took me a while to start having a good ole skank..:lol:

the feedback wasn't from the mic at all. to be honest i thought the main feedback was in the bar room. the coven has a great soundsystem, it's just a shame it isn't put to good use design wise..

The bar room was just awful. Couldn't hear anything because the doors were always open plus you couldn't turn it up very loud !!

sorry i didn't make it down. went out friday for a few drinks after my work and ended up having an accidental large one at slide listening to filthy breaks courtesy of Divide and Marsh aka Dub Terrorists... Saturday just chilled out and went round a mates for a bbq which didn't stop until midday sunday. so much for a quite one eh?? :wacko:
