OK, so i've lived in this fair city of ours since i was 2 years old... apart from three years away in southampton to get a degree.

I'm supposed to go back to college this year and finish off my masters but am having serious doubts that it's what i want to do...

I've had enough of responsibility and i've had enough of other peoples timetables... & i've had enough of the fucking huge amount of pain that i'm in because of my fucking wisdom teeth....

i wanted to go around europe for a few weeks in september culminating in a dance music festival in Rome at the end of september but now it doesn't look like that will happen because i have to register for my course on the 22nd september...

so i'm on the verge of buying a laptop, saying fuck it, and going indefinitely !!!!

However i've never done anything quite like this before & am quite frankly a bit scared!

what do you guys reckon? fuck it all off and go round the world with a laptop and a bag of tunes and worry about how about responsibility when i get back, or stay and do the college course?

I've been in full time education non stop since the age of 5, and I really wish now that I'd taken a bit of time out to do exactly what your contemplating. Unfortunately it looks like I'll have to wait another 7 years now before I get the oppertunity.

Providing your financially solvent enough I'd do it buddy. Treat yourself!

You'd be missed tho! B)

can't you register for your course without being there in person?

like, on the internet or something?

when i left education at 17/18 I really should have done some travelling, but i wasted my time doing shitty jobs and getting stoned. Now I think I'll have to save my travelling for a time when I don't have to take out a loan to pay for it :)

if you do go round europe - enjoy it my friend!

It's a very big step which I don't think I personally am brave enough to take but if you do, remember to get a credit card, they're great. :D

Hmmmm deciscions decscions!!

flip a coin?! hehe

I dont know i've always wanted to do both (...thou as i get older i feel less like ever doing a degree but i still wanna travel.)

The only good thing about this country is the dnb scene. Everything else sucks... If you dont have any ties and responsibilites then get da fuck outta here!!!

The longer you leave it the harder it gets im sure of that!

Can you apply for your course next year? Lots of ppl take a year out. .. even more than that! :)

If you can get the courage to up and leave it will be worth it in the long run but it will be a challenge.
In 2000 I upped and left for a year.

But you would be missed man!
