Longterm effects of drug use / abuse

Does anyone find that things at the side of their vision [the other stuff in the room around the thing you are looking at] are distorted as fuck?

I've had this for a few years but it steadily gets worse...

Like if someone is sat to the side of me, when I'm not looking directly at them they look like they've got hundreds of eyes and noses and shit...

Or it looks like some Salvador Dali painting...

God knows.

Must be drug-induced surely...

Am I alone here?

My eyes are crap anyway. Its worse at like raw says stupid oclock in the morning,...or afternoon...evening the follwoing day, trashed and tired and stoned.

But why dont you get an eye test. Maybe its not connected to drug use? thou the whole trippy thing might be lol.

contrary to popular belief, they DON'T hurt unless you put them in wrong, and they CANNOT slide to the back of your eye. unless you get a punch in the face or something, but you ain't a violent lad now are you :)

It's weird - it's not something that happens occasionally, it's something that's there all the time. Obviously I only notice it when I think about it, cos usually I'm paying attention to what I'm looking at, rather than what's in the corner of my eye.
So I don't get bothered by it particularly... :huh:

It seems to get spread across to nearer the centre of my vision when I've been blazing the high grade though! :D

And when I've done shrooms or LSD?

Tunnel vision perhaps, yeah, the light at the end of the tunnel is like the only thing I can see properly.

When I'm sober I'm near the end of the tunnel but when I'm hammered I've only just entered!

well i lost one of my lenses in my eye!!!

it didnt hurt i didnt even know it was there. Spent ten minutes looking for it on my clothes and on the floor only to discover it was folded in half miles to the back of my eye! :rolleyes:

i've had similar shit happen, but they always come out in the end. what i meant was, it is highly unlikely that it will dissapear into your brain! :blink:

Getting all science on ya...it sounds like years of hallucinagenic usage has messed with your ocipital lobe (the part of the brain that projects 3D images onto your eyes) and made your vision distorted. This part of the brain is worked overtime when you use acid and also gets affected when you take beans n weed n wotnot.

I'd just lay of the weed for the moment and let your cells regroup :D !

Otherwise it could be harder to reverse further down the line.
