get some earplugs.
www.hearingprotection.co.uk
the cheapies are er-20s
if you are serious about music & clubbing then invest in the customs the er-15s are the best.
none of you wanna be as deaf as me with constant ringing in both ears now?

No seriously, anyone that goes into a club these days without plugs is completely daft. Even the cheapies can save you from getting constant tinnitus and going deaf. They're only £20 - hell get some as that's only the cost of 5 pints in london. And for those of you that think you're ok - each time you come out of a club and hear ringing in your ears, you've done permanent damage that all adds up.

Pints are same price in London as round here, unless you're in a club

Have to agree, anyone who regularly goes anywhere with a half decent system needs to invest in these. IF you do get the high pitched tone in your ears after a night out, you'll definitely notice a difference in the week after.

I have started wearing plugs a bit more in the past couple of months, although I fear it may be too little too late. 10 years of abuse and my hearing is no longer top-notch. Be warned people.

My housemates always on about the importance of wearing ear plugs...They would just annoy me I think...Even though I know how important they are..

gem: would it be as annoying as not being able to sleep at night?

True your probably right.
But I wouldnt of thought it would be too bad for me as I dont go to all that many nights really with massive soundsystems etc...

The irony of this thread is that Dave always forgets to wear his :waaaaa:
I've got the er15's and won't ever go clubbing without them again. They take a little while to get used to (speaking with them on is really weird at first) but they, along with my wallet and mobile are my only essential clubbing items. And I've even got used to wearing them when I play out now which also helps loads.

I dont really recomend mate.... there pretty cheap and you can dj with them in etc... but you stil come out with some degree of ringing in your ears after a night and dont really feel that they have done much, imo anyway. But they might work for you man.
