I would think not a mistake, that is usually the case with their ticket sales to ensure they fill the club up early...

When Mike was playing a while ago, I turned up at about 11 and they said I couldn't come in because guest list people had to be there before half 10, so I threw a wobbly and they let me in :P

Niether me. I never heard of that as a rule for a club and if I did I wouldn't bother going there. If you've payed for entry to the club before the evenings event then you should be allowed acess to the event at any point of the evening. I'dask for my money back and tell em to fuck off.

You would think they would just put the allocation not already sold in ticket sales on the door as they would have already made the money on each ticket from the ticket buyers, then operate a one in one out policy when the club is full.
