Yes thats what i would prefer to play in some ways. I've not done Jungle Techno in Coven apart from Project Storm nights. Not sure if the crowds would appreciate it as much as hardcore breaks though.

I guess the people in possession of Kinetic nowadays haven't made any effort to keep count of what event you're at now, it must have surpassed its 50th event without any celebration (oh well, n00bz wake up, frauds stay asleep)... This is why people have to reference it as the 'EZ Rollers one' or the 'third Sappo' one or something. LOL

Frost was a "pilot" over 2 years before Kinetic launched as a monthly event in April 2003. The 2 nites prior to Sappo in 2003 were printed on paper flyers - i believe mikee still has them (or one) on photo bucket, and i'm sure ed still has a hardcopy of both... So far Kinetic have put on well in excess of 60 events in just over 4 years - 49 (50 this Saturday as it happens...) of these being our regular monthly mash up @ the coven. others to name a few would be a party we did at a disused pub off the abingdon road (can't remeber the name of it...anyone?). 1event in assoc. with the "free beer show" - but you got something in place of the free beer:crackmonkey:...a number of bank hols... Hip hop night here and there to inc. Sway's breaking tour. a boat party with spinback... and more but if anyone can remember any others... please add to this. oh and EZ a couple times... they were fookin wkd nights!:icon_eek:

wasn't about finishing a ten and a half hour shift in jericho then seeing two fights kick off near park end,was heading over to the covern to flyer and seeing about 8 fights kick off,my mate get punched 3 times for absolutely no REASON at all from two different guys,two people get badly bottled!!!
Then the police dissappear and i ask one police officer when they return why they left,and he says there was a man dying from a different incident.DARK

@Kinetic-sort out the cctv outside your club,just think it would secure security for future reference!!!Someone might not be sop luicky next time.

Everyone who has mentioned any trouble has also said they had a good night. Its not drawing attention, it more so suprise cos you dont often get that sort of violence at the coven (from my experience). If there is, its generally pretty minor and dealt with pretty sharpish.

I had a spot on night at this, although I was hanging a little still from the night before..:smashedwiggle: Got there during Remedy's set, who was playing some cracking Jungle Techno. Gary's set was an ideal warm up to Phantasy who playe another wicked set, I wasn't sure if he was gonna anthem bash..and luckily he didn't. Was one of the sets of the night for me! :haslayer: Jumping Jack Frost was up next, and boy did he dig deep, played some wicked early rave tunes. I checked the 2nd room every now and then, but it was a bit too wobbly for me :beefed: I was gutted to miss Lax's set, caught the last half of Juicy's set who was keeping the crowd happy. Then I took over for the last hour & got techy!! :haslayer: seemed to go down better then I thought, and managed to clear the room of Kiddies that were looking for fights...:beefed: and beans..lol

Overall I spot on night, big up to everyone who made it down.

@ Jibba & Misdemeanor glad you liked my set, and hope everyone else did who managed to catch me.
