lol and when was the last time u went there?! :P
To be fair, you get some pikeys n wannabe ruudies everywhere you go these days (bar the adult places of course) but definitely still think that sanctuary is ten times better than the crowds that go to raves @ SEone and places like that. Security might be wankers, but they wont stand by and watch someone get a kickin.....

i've been going to the sactuary for about a decade.. that venue has so many memories for me now.. first time i heard dj hype!! i still remember his set...
urban shakedown - some justice
blame - music takes you
etc... fucking hell that was a long time ago..
some of the best ever sets i've heard in my life in that place. randall @ helter skelter april '94 for example.
@ jac >>> why would you be worried.. i love my tunes just like anyone else.. it's just going to eb a total pike-a-thon and i really hate seeing all these fucking shabba loving twats with thei mobile phones with shout outs on... what ever happend to the music!?!?!?!
which is why i LOVE arena two for having NO FUCKING MCs... [yeah i know i mc too but still]

why would i be worried?? cos i know you wouldnt go purely for the reasons you listed. hehe!
Sanctuary is where i grew up ive had more quality nights out there than anywhere other single place. The dnb awards last year finally did that place some justice. Proper good vibe, atmosphere was buzzin.....ive been to the sanctuary when its crap, deffo makes it a long nite! (couldnt even hear the music for so many fucking whistles n horns! :( )
Just dont get too near the front. thats where the mc-lovers are!
Dont get me wrong i love places like movement that night at Heaven was wicked....but its quite laid back music policy. (thou still some proper rollin sets!) im not suggesting its boring, its just the other end of the scale out of the stuff that i love. And i still like the rollercoaster effect from raves thou obviously cos its the same djs, alot of the same tunes i dont wanna be doing it anywhere near as often as i was when i started goin there!
You know what they say....its all good :)

jac - you need to get to a therepy sessions.. they are fucking sick..
i missed the awards.. although all my mates went.. i usually reach a few helters as garry is ressie so i go and represent.. it's a shame they don't put the oldskool upstairs.. i love my oldskool!!!
my ideal "rave" line up would be thus...
Fabio & Grooverider
Andy C
Randall
Friction
Marky
Zinc
Ed Rush
Total Science
MC's Fats, Fearless, SP, IC3, Stamina and Dynamite
that would do it for me :]

Yea i need to go to a lot of places....money and transport always the two things that let me down thou
Thing is raves would attract a more varied crowd (ie less twats!) if they had a more varied line up. Or is that just wishful thinking?
