Intrigue is a club night based in Bristol UK showcasing the deeper sounds of drum n bass. It was started in 2003 by Ben Payne and Joe Wills aka The Insiders, and has seen many homes during that time. Intrigue began life at Bar Latino on a fortnightly Wednesday slot, and went on to stage nights at Sodabar, Level, E-Shed, Arc Bar and Warehouse before settling into its established home at Dojo Lounge at the end of 2005. The main residents are The Insiders (Metalheadz/Creative Source/31).

Each month our lineup includes established d'n'b artists alongside up and coming names. Guests who've graced the decks at Intrigue in the past year include: Fierce, D-Bridge, DJ Storm, Commix, Invaderz, LTJ Bukem, A.I., Fabio, DJ Patife, Alix Perez, Jenna G, Marcus Intalex, Martyn, Digital, Makoto, TC1, Doc Scott, Break, Bryan G & Influx UK. Aside from the music another attraction is the popular BBQ on the terrace, serving up the best in jerk chicken and tasty burgers.

2007 has been the most successful year for Intrigue to date, with each party drawing a packed out crowd to Dojo Lounge. Intrigue has also seen critical acclaim from Fabio on BBC Radio 1 several times, referring to Intrigue as one of the best drum n bass nights around.

Wicked night, as always from HQ!! Got there in time to hear Ben-E, who played a wicked set, followed by GDS who carried on with the quality tunage. The Insiders as always were wicked, really enjoyed their set, as well as Azonica & Chemical with the final set of the night. Good to see you dropping some Techy darkness into the mix! ;)

Yeah, sorry about the recording. I forgot the cable that I need to plug my laptop into the Mixing desk at The Cellar, thought they had one there but they've lost it too.

Had a great night though, was a good amount of people there for a summer one. Ben E and GDS both played wicked sets, the Insiders were heavy too. Really enjoyed my set with Mike as per, all the MC's sounding great too
