the problem with the venues in oxford is this...

the djs are not the most expensive entity... it's the venues... bar staff... door staff...

at least the zodiac has a turbosound rig / lazershow / intelligent lighting

some venues suck balls and still charge the same..

Have they sorted the set up upstairs yet!??? I only remember it being set up real shit, when Gem did a night upstairs...that was shite! I've been to some sources where the sound has been spot on, though!

the thing that gets me about source is that it's too fucking loud from the word go sometimes.... i remember going to see Frost a while ago and it was deafening all night!!! hopefully it'll get sorted but those of you who value your hearing will know what i'm on about. Friction was the last one i went to and it was a great deal better.

The thing is it's a decent rig in there. i just get a a bit pissed off with having to listen to distorted hi hats and farting speakers sometimes...

no disrespect intended but i don't really like ringing in my ears much!!!
