Hi everyone,

So me and my friends are professional Pole Dancers and we are bored with working in clubs for suits.

So we want to put on a party with Drum n bass & breaks dj's, in a real club environment, while we Pole Dance for the Dj's and crowd pleasure! the music we love will get us to dance really sexily!

I think you may have problems finding a location that has a gaming license and an owner that would allow a dnb event. I'm pretty sure that having pole dancers at an event like that requires the same license that normal strip clubs require.

Licensing can be a problem, we are using a famous club in soho that has a nudity license (even though its a dance club not a strip joint) so we can get fully naked...and we will...

so looks like you have to come to us for the moment, once you see what we do im sure you will be motivated to pressure oxford council into letting us do it at your place!

Soho is very different than a little shire out in the sticks like Oxford is.. :o and if it's anything like my area the council will fight any application to the bitter end. From what I have been told the only way to get around the council problem is to buy out businesses that operate with a license (gambling etc) and convert it to dance/strip (no 'insult' implied to your profession btw), which I have been told is what 'spearmint rhino' / 'goldeneyes' have done.
