I think promoters need to think twice before putting one of the best Djs in dnb in a club with no people - how must he have felt - it is just crazy business. that night had no support from the oxford scene! idiots!

Trust me, Marky will have got paid, im sure his agent will have seen to that. Im sure the explanation is lack of promotion. Im not from oxford so I dont know how much promo went out, but from what everyone is saying, there wasnt much. It doesnt matter who you book, if people dont know about it, they are not gonna come.

Not surprised it was empty, can't just depend on Facebook...If I was getting Marky down, I would promote hard and the night would be busy. Everyone loves Marky, they just needed to know he was playing.

I only saw 1 poster and that was in st clements half ripped so you couldnt see what venue it was at! bit of a waste that marky was down in oxford for a 2 hour set and no-one went. like chemical said it's not a good advert for the oxford scene

its a shame no one turned up, would have been interesting to see the don at the coven, but i also only knew about it from a shoddy flyer and promoter id never heard of. similar ting happend with nicky b at our su club last sat, fuck all promotion so all of 10 baitheads turned up, its all about promotion obv the promoter thought the big name would be enough, let this be a lesson.
