The third Knowledge Drum & Bass Awards take place on November 20th at the
Hammersmith Palais from 6pm - 3am.
The public vote for every category except the award except Outstanding
Achievement. This award is voted for by the industry only and is to
recognise individuals who have continually contributed to making the scene
what it is today.
Previous winners of this Award include Stevie Hyper D and Moose.
If you are industry, please reply with your vote and include your top 3
choices in order. If you are an agent please can you forward this e-mail
onto as many of your artists as possible.

The Awards are free to get in for the industry, if you'd like to apply for
the guest list please reply with your request.
Space is limited so we can't accommodate any requests for guests (i.e. no
girlfriends, relatives, etc. unless they are in the industry too).
We're going to be running a numbered guest list so we'll get back to you.
Nominees won't get guest list for the tables as we want them to share the
tables with friends and colleagues in the industry.
This is because there simply isn't enough table space to satisfy demand and
this is the fairest way to seat as many people in the scene as possible,
so please contact the nominees directly to get a seat at their table.

Doors open at 6pm with limited free beer and cigarettes for early arrivals.
Please note that the Awards will start at 8pm PROMPT.

Voting for the awards through the Knowledge website has been fierce and
feverish but the top three in each category can now been unveiled.

They've changed my job so much that if given a choice i would have taken a redundancy! Overtime isnt paid and the payrise i was told i'd be getting three months ago, as part of taking my old bosses job on now looks set to be summer. Like i will be here then anyway...bastards. Im doing half my old bosses job for a third of the wage!

My boss has never managed anyone before and is a total cock with the personnel skills of angry child. Unwilling and unable. His view is that we are all lucky still to have a job (which is true, redundancies and ppl leaving every week, we'vfe lost IT dept, accounts and personnel in last few months!)

If i threatened to leave he'd prolly laugh and say it was up to me. I am definitely not more important than the publishing director who was made redundant. If they can do without him and my old boss (previous directory editor) then they're not gonna worry about me leaving!

No zooms I was really that close. I had to stand on tiptoes to get that one of Craze though, as the stage was kinda high up!

I'm chuffed to bits, obviously. Can't say I've ever had the honour of meeting that many legends in one night!
