Hello... (THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH A NEW VERSION)

It's only a small clip and sketch, but I'm wondering if this is worth carrying on, fleshing out and making it sound proper...

Tell me what you think - it's called Thinkin' Bout Dub

Sounds good, beats sound quite clean..and thats through some shitty computer speakers.

I think you should definately finish it, its a track that would fit onto one of my sets no problem.

Hello mate, seen you play out a good few times... Nice to get some feedback off you, I'm sure you know what would sound good in a set.

Worth finishing off you reckon then? I was gonna start having a sess in my little studio tonight, just wanted to get some vibes back to see if this one was worth finishing really.

Cheers!

Ez mate, your have to come introduce yourself when you next see me bud. No worries regarding feedback, I'm always up for hearing new artist, and when I listened to what you've done so far, I didn't want you not finishing, what sounded like an almost finished piece.

So yeah definately worth finishing mate, get on it! :) I'll be up for having a listen when its done.

Not my cup of tea. However the tune is crisp and clear, just ran it through my yammies. I'd say finish it deffo.

I like it mate, sounds pro to me. The atmospherics that come in at about 1.50 are good, you should make more use of them. Finish it!

I'm currently working on a newer version, I'll post it up soon - if you geezers don't mind... See if it's going in the right direction.

DJ Raw - your remix of roof is on fire is MUCH better than the DJ panik one (you know he won that compo right?). He's production was tight, but the tune was cheesey and pretty gash really. I can't say much though, my entry weren't really all too be honest. Yours should of won over his though, no doubt.

I've uploaded a newer version, see first post. Whadda reckon? Better than version 1?

I only ask because I'm trying out different combos of EQ, levels and compression to get this right. If anyone wants to know which compressor and EQ is fucking good - check out the Sonalksis (http://www.sonalksis.com/) stuff... Wicked plugins, expensive though... Well, if you pay for it, that is.

hehe! cheers mate. I'm just happy that D-Syfa didn't win to tell you the truth. Panik seems quite a safe guy to be fair and like you said production wise his remix was superior by far.

Yeah, D-Syfa is a cunt! Big headed Canadian bugger! Imagine him winning that, his head would of exploded I reckon.

Happy xmas and all that.

To be honest... I've been listening to my new version and it don't sound as good... I've seemed to of lost the funky feel of the drums and it's lost some of its groove...

Tough old game this production lark... Gonna get back on it...
