pswich manager Jim Magilton has issued a withered diatribe in the direction of David Nugent after calling time on his bid to sign the Portsmouth striker.
Magilton had hoped to lure Nugent from Fratton Park to Portman Road in a loan switch in order to bolster his attacking options for the Championship run-in.
Nugent has endured a nightmare campaign on the South Coast since arriving in the summer from Preston but appears unwilling to drop down into English football's second tier.
Having been given permission to speak to the player by Portsmouth, Magilton has been left incredulous by the silence he has received on Nugent's part - a scenario that led to him pulling the plug on the deal.
Plus, he appears to be melting in that picture.

He's a cunt cos he fucks managers about and thinks he's the fucking nuts when really he's an unfit prick who can't cut in the premiership.
This is the same prick who sent nude pictures to try and "woo" a girl into bed with him. The girl quite rightly went to the media to show everyone what a cunt he is.

We were after him but Keano got fucked off with his attitude and now we have Kenwyne Jones. Thank fuck we didn't get Nugent, Jones is 10 X the player he is.

Chopra's done much better than Nugent, Keano's been playing him out of position most of the season on the right wing, and altho he hasn't been that great in that position he aint been that bad either. I think he's only played up front in his correct position about 4 times. Deffo needs more chances to play with Jones.
If we get a quality midfield delivering good balls to the forwards, Chopra would score goals. Next season will be make or break for him tho.
our midfield is our weakness this season. Too many injuries.

i dont like kenwyne jones, he used to play for southampton...
never mind, nugent's chance will come, he has been injured for quite a lot of the campaign to be fair..
to be fair though sunderland are too shit for the premiership but too good for the championship...always have been..respect to them coming from the bottom to win the league last year though..

I mean, Keano will lead us to be a regular premier league side, we have the fans, the stadium, the academy and now we have the chairman and the manager (= MONEY!!).
I have faith in Keano.

I'd like to see Nugent play alongside Defoe or Baros once he's fully recovered. Ok so he's not played well for us yet but I really think its a confidence thing.

Not the point dave Beatie would of got you more goals if he had played in the same postion as Chropa this season + he's 10x times the player Chropa is....
Chopra has already flopped in the Premiership Beatie was talked up to be a future England player till his confidence went at Everton given a chance he would of done a lot better a Sunderland than Chopra..

Chopra scored more goals in the championship last season than beattie has this season. If keano thought beattie would have been a good buy, he would have gone for him.
You can't really say Chopra's flopped in the premiership if he hasn't been playing in his preffered position.

Beatie has scored a hell of a lot more goals than Chopra has in the prem and Chorpa was played in his right postion for Newcastle...
If you honestly think Chorpa is a better player than Beatie you kidding yourself...
+ your biased im looking at it from a neutral postion.
Beatie has got 14 in the league already with a team down the bottom says it all..

I think Keano's doing a hell of a job at sunderland. They will stay up this year then improve in the summer need there main players to be fit been without them for most the season and have really missed the creativity that richardson brings and whitehead when he's played has looked good need to get in some decent defenders. was suprised keane wasted money on higgingbottom as he is crap!

Beatie scored a couple more over the weekend again...
Would of been a much better signing for less money than Chopra no matter how much you look at it..
what you reckon people ?

At the end of the day, Beattie went to a championship side, he could have gone to any prem club but he didn't.
Chopra hasn't really had a chance, next season will be make or break for him.
This season, Chopra has been the least of our worries. Our midfield has been so depleted all year. Chopra has done a good job out on the right wing, as good as any forward would manage anyway. Lets get him some service and get him playing in the correct position before we judge him too much.
Keano's already made the worst signing he'll ever make, Greg Halford, what a usless cunt he was and yes, Keane deffo paid way over the odds for Chopra.

Beatie wont be at Sheffield Utd long another club will be sure to snap him up soon after his performance this season at a club who is struggerling Beatie is still scoring 16 in the league now this season.
Chorpa has plenty of chances at Newcastle but just didnt cut it clearly not good enough at the time playing up front not in midfield remember.
He is proberbly doing you a favour in midfield because he wont get you goals up front like Beatie would..
Its mad he paid what he did when he could of got Beatie for far less.. End Of.

I still don't get your point. There are loads of players that would have been a better signing than Beatie or Chopra, but we didn't sign them. So your arguing about something thats never happened and never will.
I'm sure if you spoke to Keano or Beatie they'd tell you why, and i read that Beatie wanted to drop down a level cos he was low on confidence. If he comes back to prem next year and starts scoring goals, it will be due to this year in the championship getting his confidence back.

The point is Keano could of signed Beatie instead of Chopra for less money and would of had a better player not only now but for the future maybe even an England international on his hands if given a chance. Not rocket science is it

My point is that Keano, Curbishly, Jewell, Bruce, Coppell, Allerdyce/keegan etc...
could have all gone for him, but they didn't. None of them did. Must be a good reason.
And the fact that Beatie has scored goals in the championship means nothing, Chopra, kevin Phillips, Darren Huckerbey. All good in the championship but can't cut it in the prem. So you use the "Beaties scored goals..." argument.

Well you could say none of them managers went for Chopra ....
And you could say the same about Chopra and being in the Champsionship
but Beatie was a better player than him when at Everton than Chopra @ Newcastle..
