I fuckin hate them, and I hate the designers who make turntables have no space for your fingers when you try to wire them in!

i make the end of the wire into a hook shape, then place that on the err... thing, then screw the bit in place.

Move your decks a lot?
be cunning and make a snap connector from bits from halfords or whatever.
use a small ring on 1 end, and have a bit of wire with a bullet connector on, and the other bullet goes on your earth wire
that way, there's no screwing stuff, just snap on and go...
just make sure you crimp your bullets well, so there's no resistance (so no hum)
