Zero Tolerance (aka Cian McCann) is arguably the brightest rising star coming out of Dublin's drum n bass scene. His complex and eerily melodic production has already been released on such major labels as Liquid V, Hospital, Commercial Suicide, Reinforced and Bassbin.

Cian's influences range from the early 90s conscious hip-hop sounds of Pete Rock, Premier and ATCQ to UK trip hop artists and labels such as Mowax, Ninja Tune and Massive Attack. Also marked on his musical blueprint were 70s soul and funk, blue note jazz and early hardcore rave.

With a string of solo and colab releases forthcoming on big labels such as Liquid V and Soul:R, V recordings label boss Mosus has definitely stepped up his production game of late. Recently returning from a huge tour of Australia, New Zealand and America, crowds have been loving his minimal rolling style which we know will suit HQ well. Most people from outside of Oxford wouldn't know Ben E, in fact most people in Oxford don't know Ben E. Those who know him will say he's that bloke with shit hair who works (part-time) in Topman. Fortunately we have chosen to look beyond this appalling career choice and can assure you that he is one of Drum and Bass' finest up & coming production talents. It is testament to these skills that in spite of only having a limited amount of production experience Ben E has already got tunes signed to Industry Records and Deep Soul Music. We can assure you that Ben E will be one to watch in 2008 and beyond, so remember when you saw him first.

Had a wicked night while I was there, wicked rollin set from BenE and once again Zero T killed it, huge tune selection!!! Was loving Mosus set aswell, although Zero T was the one for me. Big ups top Mantmast holding it down well on the mic all night.
