a fucking joke of an event.
i had fun, coz i was on the red stripes. and i was pleased with nick and my set. dropping classics/ bombs.
funny, coz nick and i had control over the mic volume. so when 2 blaggers were like, "oi bruv, let me bless the mic". nick and i just turned it right down, but they carried on spitting shit lyrics through the mic. hahaha. the mc's that were on the flyer were pleased. i then heard they blagged their way onto the main stage and were there for about an hour.
must have been 200 peeps at the most.
and i heard, but did not know that silent witness turned up, only to be told he wasn't playing. and loxy didn't turn up at all. RUBBISH.
JOKE. it would have been a waste of money if you had paid to get in.

I heard about these, you should've given me a call on the beefdial I would've come in as I was out and about flyering and ended up outside Lakota about 3. Heard it was pony anyway, guessed it had gone pretty wrong when I saw the promoter come outside and start crying! (twice!)

damn, didn't think of that. car park talks. but turning the volume down pon the mic was funny enough. they were passing the mic between themselves, still chatting shit. thinking they were live. nick and i just lol'd. classic
and lol at the guy crying. prolly won't see concrete dub anytime soon. proly never.

from what I've heard it's the same sort of thing every year, 3rd time in a row he's put one on and lost a fortune! Got to admire his tenacity I'd suppose but not the best idea financially.
I'm always on the beefdial if you're in Brizzle anyway Matt :grouphug:
