derrin is a psycological magician, not an illusionist

i didnt se the programme personally, but i heard the blank mashed the fuck out of a bottle! it would have huirt him pretty bad if it had gone off in his face

there was no illusion jac mate, he had a real gun and real blank bullet, a real person, and he didnt get it wrong

i have much more respect for derrin brown's skills than i do for david blaine

okay so he's a parapsychologist :p

Its still an illusion thou - viewers thought they saw something they didnt!

But i have to agree got a lot more respect for him than mr blaine. ithink he's lost it by doing this 40days 40nite crap.

yea but if he 'd have said im gonna play russian roulette with a plastic gun and blanks who'd watch :p

yea i've changed my opinion of mr blaine. As i've said before, solitary confinement is used as a means of punishement = so does seem odd to me.

he thinks he's performing an amazing feat of human achievement

what about prisiners of war who were chained to a post, never allowed to stand up for more than an hour and consumed less than mr blaine has, ie, his fresh water supply

is it TRUE that some one really flew a remote controlled helecopter up to him and dangled maccy d's burgers right in front of him!?

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

yea have to agree. ITs more like a japanese torture show than anything else.

I think he was expecting more public support but 40days is a long time to keep public interest when all he's doing is sitting on his arse

well fuck me

i actually agree with frost

derren brown does awesome tricks claiming he can read your signs you give off about what you are thinking without realising it. from what i've seen, i wouldn't argue

he is a legend.

as far as I understand it, he was using a real bullet (obv i know now that he wasn't) but when he fired it into the bag of flour at the end, the bag split and flour started pouring out. :-/

who cares anyway. he risked serious bodily harm either way you look at it. and came out in one piece :D

and as far as david blane goes, I've seen the "card appearing on the other side of the window" trick being done by a 14 year friend of mine right before my eyes, so without disrespecting said friend, it can hardly be real "magic"

levitation though..... :(
