I cant lie - they all know Im out every weekend, but they are really good about it... so I just call up and say look.. sorry im really shattered, and they are fine... I think they prefer the honesty.

I dont do it monday mornings though.... one thing I am strict with myself about but if ya are makin an excuse, have you thought about car fan belt snapping? Thats a good one - mine actually broke a couple of months ago and I coukdnt get it fixed immediately, had to go to a garage - and if yr unable to get to work its the same as sickness?

Never good if they ask you when you get back "How was it? Are you ok?" and you say "How was what? Why wouldn't I be?" ;)

FTW: Stomach cramps and food poisoning as standard.

I used to be fucking brilliant at pulling sickees, my excuses were so random that I don't think anyone considered that I made it up, I don't sound half as convincing anymore.
