I heard some abosulety amazing tracks the other day.Completely mind blowing stuff, real dark and completely new sounding.Real edge to it.
Why is it,that so many ppl are producing shit hot stuff, and no-one hears it.
Surely if theres tracks that good being done, its gonna get played.
Fair enough dance floor stuff is where the money is.
But if I was making my own music(hmm maybe my next plan),it wouldnt be about the money. It would be for music I loved.
There cant be too many ppl producing stuff that is as heavy and as dark as what I heard.I cant say I've heard a great deal lately that really stands out, from the rest. So why are these ppl not getting their stuff played, there must be loads more ppl out there. All I'm hearing is the same sound, when theres better stuff to be heard.

good question, the problem is that the drum&bass scene is full of people wanting to keep it "in-house" so it's so very difficult to break in.

it's a shame becuase this ignorance/arrogance will eventually kill the entire scene.

i can count on one hand the amount of new people who have broken into the a-list in the last 2 or 3 years... and that is a fucking shame.

bedroom producers kill most of the bigger names.

you like the dark shit?

sweet!

i LOVE the dark shit!!!!

:badteeth: :badteeth: :badteeth:

i think ppl are to scared to risk a otaly dark night in oxford, cos it might not fill their club and they'd lose money

its a shame, especially... when like at abailey, or optical when the dark tunes come one no one stops ancing at all!! its got more edge to it that chilled tuned! in MY opinion chillism is more kind of ackground music for parties, and the darkshit is for AVIN IT!

Dark, Dirty and damn right Filthy Drum n Bass

Now ya Talking.

I remember when I brought knowledge Mag 1 month. With it came a CD (no shit?) which was called Street Beats. It had some real dark DnB on it, mixed by a DJ Rasorblade.

But you will never ever ever hear that kinda DnB in a club. For reasons put foward by Mr Frost (Overkill). Big up.

It's just TOO DARK, But fucking GREAT.

If I was allocated a night at The Zodiac and had money to throw away, I would throw a Dark as you like DnB session.

Right then, Where's the AVIT thread.
