Blueberries are great in smoothies :)
But muesli, yoghurt, apples, banana and grapes, is the winning breakfast combo!
I have packets of cous cous at work, usually have one (or 1/2) of those before hitting the gym straight after work, if i've not been clever enough to make some pasta up and bring it in.
I don't really eat snacks though as I tend to prefer the unhealthy ones! Just smaller meals, and more of them!

Just because something is low in fat doesn't make it healthy.
And too much fruit is bad too, loads of sugar.

If its low in fat, then it is generally better for you, so healthier for your body

Not necessarily - it might be better for you calorifically, but a lot of low-fat foods are laced with E numbers.

Not all fats are bad, some are very good for you.
The only healthy diet is one which is balanced.

Made this last night for me and the girlie
Steak with sweet mustard topping and sautéed potatoes, served with vine roasted tomatoes and rocket salad.
Only thing i'd say is browner potatoes (they were crispy) colour is a let down though. And maybe a smaller portion / bigger plate.
I didn't struggle finishing it at any rate.

Did you dress the salad?
Potatoes are undercooked.
Glad the Steak is rare though.
People who don't have steak rare are fools.

Potatoes were not undercooked. -- a little too much oil in the pan and not quite enough time to brown them, that's all.
Salad was just dressed in olive oil lemon juice and a bit of sea salt and pepper.

Not always! We've been brainwashed into thinking that anything low-fat is good for you, which is essentially, bollocks.
Often low fat stuff has added salt and sugars in or other stuff to increase the taste. I've had to add sunflower seeds to my breakfast to help me with this (and also I only eat fish about once a week anyway!) as the only thing I eat which is particularly fatty (aside chocolate ;) ) is cheese! EVERYTHING i buy is low- fat. It's really hard to switch around from this way of thinking, I'm basically re-learning what is healthy and what is not. And don't get my started on the GI index....:badsantathumbs:

That looks lush!! Did you stuff the chicken yourself?
Although the plate of pasta looks very yellow - needs peppers and spinach imo!

Naah jaqs.. its a rich dish.... anything else would just be overkill. Perhaps a little spinach would of been alright with the pasta.

I would of wrapped it in something, but i couldn't be arsed to go find my mums sewing box, so i just stick it together with a couple of cocktail sticks. Griddled to seal it up then put the pan in the oven on about 150 - 170 for 20 odd minutes.
Sauce for the pasta was just rue + hot milk and grated cheddar. Get a mature cheddar, flavor is immense.
Edit: If you do end up trying it, make sure you fry the chorizo a little first, get rid of all the nasty oil. I think i had some chopped onions in there as well as the thyme of course.
