BREAK [ SYMMERTRY - DNAUDIO ]
http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/3127/breakmh3.jpg
Acquiring a love for the breakbeat through jazz and funk records, Break took to the drums at a young age, learning piano along the way and taking to the turntables at the age of fourteen.
A talented musician with a wide range of influences, Break looks to push the barriers in whatever he’s doing. Crisp breaks, heavy bass and strong melody are stable marks of his productions making him a firm favourite with a variety of the scenes top DJs.
Break hooked up with the DNAudio crew back in 2001 after meeting Squire through mutual friends. Since then he has played an important role in the label’s expansion, working closely with Silent Witness in developing a fresh & devastating new sound.
A-Sides was quick to sign Break’s debut ‘Cocktail’ for the ‘East Side Jamz 2’ LP and wasted no time releasing his first solo twelve, ‘Sticky Situation’, the ‘Breakout EP’ and a string of other singles.
His partnership with Silent Witness led to releases on No U Turn and since then Break hasn’t looked back. As one of the most prolific producers in the scene, long hours in the studio have led to outings on the likes of Commercial Suicide, Quarantine, DNAudio, Critical, Shogun Audio, Subtitles, Metalheadz and East Side; all building on Break’s reputation as one of the drum & bass’ hottest talents.
Now working closely with Fierce, Survival and singer Kyo, as well as regular solo material, Break’s output shows no sign of slowing despite a busy DJ schedule that has taken him on tours of the USA, Australia and New Zealand, plus shows every week at the d&b hotspots of Europe and the UK.
SABRE [ RENEGADE HARDWARE - METALHEADZ - CRITICAL ]
http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/2734/sabremk8.jpg
Hours of being locked in the studio have finally started to pay off as Sabre began to find his own sound; this process in many ways aided by the degree in music production the he'd enrolled in (and eventually dropped out of!). Early productions to receive interest were mostly the product of the Intimidation Collective (ITMTM), a collaborative project with long-time friend and musician Maxwell Golden. 2001/2002 saw the most productive spell, with the duo releasing an EP themselves, and being commissioned to do remix work for Relentless subsidiary, Outcaste recordings.
Back to the present, And the young Londoner has big plans to get himself involved in as many parts of the scene as possible, the most recent excursion being into the world of promotion with the launch of 'London Zu' in November 2004 ,housed at the legendary La Scala venue in Kings X. Pirate Listeners can catch Sabre in DJ mode on his weekly Rude FM residency every Sunday night spinning plates from across the globe backed with plenty of fresh goodies from the man himselfs studio.
Alongside future releases though various labels including Emcee, Scientific Wax, Jerona Fruits and Darkestral, 2008 sees Sabres return to collaborative projects after a long spell of solo work. Look out for Sabre tracks alongside Andy Skopes, Alix Pirez, Psylence, Breakage, Jubei, Eddy Woo, plus much more from the recently formed, 'Do the Math' Collective.
BEN-E [ CYLON - DEEP SOUL MUSIC ]

Most people from outside of Oxford wouldn't know Ben E, in fact most people in Oxford don't know Ben E. Those who know him will say he's that bloke with shit hair who works (part-time) in Topman. Fortunately we have chosen to look beyond this appalling career choice and can assure you that he is one of Drum and Bass' finest up & coming production talents. It is testament to these skills that in spite of only having a limited amount of production experience Ben E has already got tunes signed to Industry Records and Deep Soul Music. We can assure you that Ben E will be one to watch in 2008 and beyond, so remember when you saw him first.
