Mate, to be honest I aint got a clue whos really the best. However if you're thinking of getting broadband I would suggest NTL until I'm blue in the face. I've been on it a few months now and I'm getting good speed with very little downtime. It's a good service too as they have sent me an engineer no fuss everytime I have had a problem, and it's been sorted good.

wow man, i spent 4 years working in the cable industry and that's the first time i've heard ntl mentioned in a positive light.

i've had zen adsl for 2 years now and never had one problem. no need to call engineers out. that's a good service.

NTL are cocks..

i have been with them less than 1 week and i'm considering getting them to come the fuck back and take the modem away again. the customer service is awful.

my 2 cents! haha

I remember being pissed off that after two hours NTL just decide to kick you offline. No matter where you are in the queue on WinMX!

Um? yes well thanks guys but I'm on a 56k dial-up.

Broadband? Christ, you're lucky to get a phone cable round this neck of the woods, let alone cable cable.

Anyway, ISP's Who's the worst? Excluding Freeserve.

(shunt this thread back to the top of the pile).

NTL broadband has always been sweet for me...although when i move out in a week or so i'll probably be going for Pipex ADSL.

for dial up i'd again look at NTL...although you get cut off after 2 hours the calls cost nothing and you can just re-dial whenever....and if you are already on NTL phone you don't have to pay ANYTHING...no monthly fee, no phone bill for dial up calls, nothing.

Ta, I'l look in to that.

Why does it cut off after 2 hours do you think, (or know)??????

to stop people leaving it on all the time constantly :]

although you can set it to just re-dial whenever it disconnects if you know what you're doing.
