Tech:nology, London’s freshest, darkest Drum & Bass club night returns for the New Year on Friday 23rd January at London’s Rhythm Factory, bigger and badder than ever before, setting the pace for 2009, celebrating their 4th Birthday bash.

To celebrate Tech:nology’s 4th year in the making and the first party of 2009 in true Tech:nology style, we have invited a bill of Drum & Bass beat blazing bad boys to join us!

None other than BBC 1Xtra’s finest, the Inta-beats All Star DJ Bailey will be mashing them down, alongside the dark-side and distinctive sounds of Vicious Circle, Sabre, Silent Witness, Prolix and more.

MC’s 2Shy, Ryme Tyme, Joker D, Killa B and Havok will be your lyrical hosts for the night. Plus pure uninterrupted beats will be firing out of room two from some of the freshest talent to hit the scene to date.

Expect some of the hardest beats and deepest basslines at the meet of the like-minded, join the heads that really know how to get down at this birthday extravaganza.

It was a crazy night, Bailey & Silent Witness were the stand out sets for me, good to see you again Jacqui

I was a bit worried that it wouldn't be very busy - right at the end of january and just before pay day for most people, but was happy to be proved wrong!

Smokey & Nebulus's set definitely had the most people in room2 all night that we saw. Good work! Was enjoying the older tracks, a great selection, shame Ididn't catch more of the set. Bailey played some good tunes, but mc was annoying me at the time. VC did the usual high-energy stuff, missed half of silent witness, but what I heard was really, really good, more pace than the other sets i've heard by him. Had no energy to dance to prolix, which was really annoying as I've always wanted to hear him play. Shame I had to leave 20mins into chris inperspective's set!
