I just can't believe Fun is a resident alongside the amazing talents of algar & sandman.

Fun is already a big part of Unity and is getting bookings all over the place, one of the biggest mc's in dnb at the moment. I just can't see him being at EVERY kinetic as a resident?!

Indeed it has. I was up on there on a site visit before Christmas. However, I thought that the HK centre on Headington Hill was due for redevelopment as phase 2 of their masterplan hence I wasn't aware that they were going to stop using it next year sometime. :biggrindaisy:

andy did what he does best, and i was quite pleased with his broad selection.. those screens showing the dj from over the top of the decks are a wicked idea, tho it did show andy up a bit imo - seeing that i saw some of his plates had the intro cut off them; duppy man for one...

Break and Randall both smacked it. Nice to see Andy C again for the first time in a couple of years. First hour was good, but then it went a bit too bouncy for me. Great idea havign the camera set up. Good to see the DJs at work when you're a distance away from the action.

Can only remember bits from the night really aswell was to smashed on the beers.

Was loving it though Andy C GQ and FUN well from what i can remember this set was murder FUN was loving it up there with GQ big combo. :hasbow:

Randall set i can remember him dropping some proper screw face bombs selection was diffrent class on the night. :eek:

Fabio did the job with Eksman showing he can warm a night up and let the muic flow at the same time busting some clear lyrics but just kept it going nicely really for that sort of time.

Dj Lee didnt think much of his CDJ mixing with some not so good sounding tunes that sounded hard to mix anyway. Not my thing really.

Break cant even remember think he must of been on with SP this was a big blur. Shame really gonna take it easy next time and take more in.

Big up to Kinetic for finally putting on a Brookes event on Par with the Source events. Screens were a right touch.

Fabio and eks - Much like London Elek and eks, perfect kick start to the night. I really rate eksman as a warm up mc, he knows exactly how to perform at each venue/time/knows the dj's.

Break - Needs to be booked again, so much better than the usual bookings (adam F, hazard etc...) and SP needs no review, always on point.

Andy C - Top form, GQ and Fun were mint b2b. Need more mc's going b2b in oxford imo.

Randall - All i remember is a dirty intro... i was fucked by the end of the andy set anyway, left not long into his set.


Very impressed, DJ Lee is so much better as a warm up DJ than Fink and caution or any other kinetic residents. Nothing like a bit of sub bass to warm a system up.

What was that tune that i think Lee and Andy C played, kind of down tempo in a way. I think its on the headhunters lp or possibly by D-kay. Pretty sure i got it on vinyl, just can't think what the fuck it is?!?!
