Bring It On is wicked but when listening to the Andy C cd I have come to appreciate some other stuff !!

So it was a good night then ? I knew I should of went although I had a fun mix in the bar room at the coven. Actually managed to have a sweet mix !!

Started with Rotation which came through early because of VClassic Trax's lack of caring for the "Monday Shipping" policy !! :hyper:

i'll chat to the management about the door pricing being less than the in advance pricing, sounds a bit odd to me.

expect some good news about source in 2004, a few changes are taking place. i will report back very soon indeed.

i still can't beleive i got lumbered with shy fx's set. i hope i did allright, his style wasn't really my bag as you lot know... he did play a few baaad tunes.. that "who runs tings" remix rocked..

It was only £15 on the door and £15.50p in advance so not much difference! -just all the ppl who booked in advance didnt get in any cheaper which i guess next time means they'll just pay on the door. No real loss i guess :)

Quality nite @ Brookes. Was ggo to get there early & apprectiate the Residents, Jay Jay & Lee, they were perfect for getting things started. Quiff played a blindin set as always, & Shy FX was actually one of sets of the nite for me...Goldie was a bit disapointing for me though.

Manikular & Lady Blaze were wicked on the Mic, out shone Rage. Was good to see loads of peeps I knew & meet some new ones, still couldn've done with more ftb peeps in attendence!!!! :)

Can't wait for the 14th February....best get my ear plugs for thiat on! Which reminds me, top marks to for the sound & lighting @ Brooks, was worth the money I tink! They need to sort the paying on the door thing, I know we woul'dve only saved 50p...but it it did take the piss...but all in all a quality night.

personally i cant see any reason not to give lids to bottles. (feel free to enlighten me!) Apart from the fact water sloshing everywhere as u dance, ppl were still refilling them at the taps anyway so they didnt gain any extra sales!

for me the highlight of the night was by far and away dj lee's set. absolutely brilliant. goldie was ok but i was a bit mashed by then... nothing new there then! :D

anyone got any idea's about what the last tune was? i think it's by krust but that was heavy.

In fact a tracklisting of Lee's whole set would be good! :) Every tune was quality, a nice surprise set! Big up's to Lee! I thought Jay Jay was playing some quality tunage aswell, although he had his work cut out getting all the lazy ass's out of the seats...and onto the Dancefloor! :D

As said by others Goldie was a bit dissapointing. Some nice jungly tuneage but a bit too much clang-age aswell!!! Probably got a bit messy on the chang beforehand :badteeth:

Wickid night overall, met alotta freindly faces. I reckon thats wot made the night for me actually. No trouble, lots of smiles (well gurny ones) and a quality atmosphere.
