Quality night as always at Tech:nology :bigglasses:

Got there at the end Of Equinox's set, and from what I heard we missed a heavy set. Managed to catch some of Nebulus set in room 2, solid mixing and tune selection. Next we caught Fierce, whom always plays a quality set, mixing as ever was tight and some good tunes, specially his last tune (No idea what it was). Spirit was up next and played the set of the night for me, mixing wasn't as tight as fierce but tune selection was brilliant. Dom was on next and played some corkers as to be expected from him. Greencode & myself were on next in Room 2, enjoyed our set and had a good size crowd considering Loxy was on in the main room. Our set seemed to whizz past though...After us was Nekrosis b2b Raw both played some wicked tunes included some tunes from the forthcoming Prspct Recordings Album. What I heard of Kasra's set was sounding good, deffo a dj that needs more bookings. Verb didn't play in the end, so Solid Industry filled in. By that time it was deffo time to leave to get back to work for me, otherwise I would have checked the rest of his set. MC wise Blackeye, Havok, Killa B & of course 2Shy were all on on form, especially 2Shy. Good to see some familar faces & meet some new ones. Roll on the next one...:bigglasses:

Was a good night, Equinox was smashing it up when I got there, sick DJ. Fierce was good although the lack of proper pounding sub in the Rhythm Factory doesn't lend itself too well to a lot of the bassy rollers he was playing.

Caught Spirit's first few tunes before going and catching DLM in room 2, seriously good DJ, such a shame he was playing to just a few people in there.

Some of Dom's tunes after Spirit were just ridiculous, massively dark but not just for the sake of it, still work really well on the dance floor I reckon.

Stayed for about half of Loxy's set before leaving as I was getting a lift, was hoping he was going to build it up through from the minimal stuff he started with, as the tempo dropped a fair bit after Dom, was a bit too much of a drop for me in my slightly pissed up state by this stage, that's just my preference though, I couldn't get into the tunes by that point.

All MC's I heard were on point, was particularly impressed by 2Shy, good stuff.

shouts to oscar for having us down really enjoyed our set. shouts to ascension - was surprised to see ya cause its been ages... bigup to dj hotstuff for the support and pictures! felon, nebulus, displaced - was really good to have a drink and a chin wag with you guys!

selection of the night for me was spirit, tho i didnt hear every set... & kasra smacked it also. mixing of the night for me was fierce keepin it tight.

Sounds like a good night - what was up with the sound then? And loxy has been fairly boring for about a year now. Just not been feeling his stuff of late. Shame on you all for missing equinox though :P but putting him on early was a bit of mistake imo!

Just the same old in there, they promise that they have fixed up the sound (did this before both events which I helped promote there last year), and when I turn up after such promises I'm just left feeling let down that I don't think it has improved at all. I'd probably mind less if these assurances weren't given before each time I went down there and knew what I was going to get before I got there [/grump]

It didn't really detract from my night though, still had a great time.

Loxy does love his minimal stuff, but I've seen a fair few sets from him in the last year where he has started on that tip and built it up excellently, which I feel is a proper DJing art.

@ Vyper, I was down there from Equinox for a fair few hours and was milling about, I was slightly on the booze as well though :P

Greencode, I live in London now, so out and about at events round town most weekends, no more missions from the sticks in Aylesbury any more :bigglasses:
