i know la fitness has one but it's so small... wondered if anyone knew of any other decent ones that generally are cheap & not that busy!

oxford uni sports centre on iffley road.

fairly sure you can just turn up and pay but you may have to be a member.

Yes you do have to be a member and it costs extra for the pool. Can't remember how much but it's a nice sports centre.

The one at Marston Ferry leisure centre is pretty good...

you can get a Slice card from the Council - then you can get in cheap to Marston Ferry, Barton and Hinksey open air, and temple cowley, but dont go there with goggles unless you want to see plasters and bits of poo and hair! BBL one has been up dated too i think, but Marston Ferry just of the banbury road and barton (had lottery funding) are the nicest. Theyre all fairly cheap without the slice card...

just need to find oxford uni student who will buy me a book of tickets on my behalf at the discounted rate. 10 swims @ £4.50 per swim is pretty steep!
