I know what you're saying blerg, It's well difficult to name the top ten just like that. Is the top 10 at the moment? or the top ten of the last decade? To me, every DJ and every MC that contibutes to the scene is all good. Don't really have any favourites.
Allthogh saying that, I think That MC Conrad should get the life time achievement award, if there is 1.
Take your last ticket to ride,
cause the time has arrived,
to see who will survive,
the bukem vibe.
Absolute quality.
Oh and another thing, NO MC = NO PARTY. ;)

I like a dj who doesn't just play hard to finds top ten d 'n' b tunes and shows some style of there own. I saw someone buy LK in HMV yesterday, the original. I found that interesting? I suppose you've gotta have it but?????

The origional was ok. well it was untill it was overplayed and an infinate amount of crap remixes were made <_<

if i did go buy LK it would deffinately be the orig!
i hated the vocal mix grrr! sounded like a Craig David rmx to me... hated it!
is there some crazy ass mix of LK out that plays as normal through the tune till the break. then totaly changes bassline and everything to a new tune?
or am i talking shit?

that'll be the scorpio mix B) proper full cycle bizness.
i bought the original too, and I still love it. same for shake your body (original). The fact is that both are classics - like original nuttah when it first came out. everyone loved it, then hated it, now when it's dropped, the response is everyone sings it.
+ the ladies love it ;)

Shake Your Body is a wicked tune to mix in I'll give it that, real simple and that.

I just think of him speaking in a somewhat threatening voice saying ''You better express how you feel!''
or even ''Yo budder uxprush ho ya feel!''
Classic!

GQ owned 1994 and 1995... then stevie hyper took over untill his death.
sadly there isn't one MC these days who can compete with the grace GQ had back in the days of AWOL and World Dance @ Lydd airport.
jesus.. lydd airport, they were the phucking days....
*miss!*
