A pair of Vestax pdx2000 mk2's.
£400 for the pair. Light missing from one of the decks, other than that they are in good condition.
Tell ya friends/brothers/pets.
Would much rather sell them locally than go through e-bay.

i was going to sell my vestax pdx2000's and then use teh cash to switch over to technics but on looking at ebay, only technics seem to be holding any kind of resale value.
some vestax go for easily sub 100 on there each, even a pair
considering the spec which is technically as good as technics imo it's hard to justify paying so much to switch decks at the minute now
Buy mine off me and you can mix on 4 DECKS!!!

I'm interested in either but there is a huge and invariably deal-killing caveat.
I could only pay in ton installments and I have almost nothing to put up as security. I would be willing to pay half before I get the decks but I don't want to be the one who's in a situation that could lead to being ripped.
Actually fuck it, I'll keep eyeing ebay, better for all concerned. Good luck shifting them I'm sure they'll go.
I flogged mine, with concordes, plus a PCV275, £400 on ebay.
I still hate myself for it but I block it out = true story.
NEVER SELL YOUR PRIMARY SET OF DECKS! HAVING WELL OVER 1000 PLATES IN YOUR ROOM WITH NO MEANS TO PLAY THEM IS UP THERE WITH GETTING YOUR FORESKIN CAUGHT IN A 12 YEAR OLD BOYS BRACES. (Possibly not a true story)

I've just moved into a flat with a baby next door. In fact, the babies bedroom is next to the decks room!
Even then, the new flat is fairly expensive and i have to save a load of money to pay for a 2 week holiday in Ibiza. Selling the decks is the only way i can see possible to go to Ibiza without being on a stupid cheap budget.
Paying in installments is a bit of a shit so fair enough if you can't be assed. I do trust people on here but not enough to set up standing orders between bank accounts as you are all still pretty much strangers to me.
If you can muster up about £300 in the next 4 weeks or so i'd be willing to sell them. The offers here if u want it. Have a think.

same goes here. not in any rush to sell so if you can get the cash together over the next 2-3 months, they're all yours.
p.s buy mine, technics are better. safe

I think that statement is a bit harsh considering the build quality of Vestax is good & they have excellent torque.
I've had mine for probably 8 years now & have had no problems with them at all.
Once locked in the mix they're not going anywhere either.
In fact as a newcomer to turntables, because they're going so cheap in comparison to Technics at the minute I'd recommmend them because of their spec.
Yes they look a bit stupid compared to technics sleek styling but they are a very good turntable.
Thanks!

@doubt - I know what it's like mate, I had no real choice but to sell mine, needs must my friend.
I will seriously consider trying to gather the 300 but if you get any other offer I suggest you go with it.
The only cunt from my point of view is that if I don't get them now, no doubt I'll end up looking for some a few more months down the line and there won't be any good deals about - sod's law!
all the best.

PS - Vestax are shite? That is bollocks, sorry lads.
But it's best not to get into this argument for fear of TEH DRAMAZ, which is DEFINATELY something to fear indeed, for it makes me want to type things like 'teh dramaz', which is almost as bad as the Scrabble rules change.
@fonik - fuck a duck mate I missed your comment until now. Well, I won't say anothing else until next month when I'll have realistically not saved anything towards either offer! ;)

I would have to disagree there. To me there not reallly toquey at all. For some reason I can mix on those Vestex's for shit but can mix on my Numark TTx'1s and 12,10's no problem. I would say for a beginner those vestex’s would be far from ideal imo.

Can i just say as a vestax user i have had no trouble adjusting to TTX1's/1210's when playing radio etc... :biggrindaisy:
If you can mix on vestax you can mix on anything :badsantathumbs:
I also don't see the need for loads of torque if you don't scratch.

Hence all the venues around the world instaling 'em eh?
But yeah, you're totally right. This argument is about 15 years late :)

More Torque = easy to mix on
More Torque = stays in time eaiser to lock a mix togther.
If torque was not an issue then everyone would just buy belt drives.
Or Am I wrong ?

I don't see how the difference in torque between vestax/ttx1's/1210's can affect the ability to lock a mix.
Belt drive is a different matter altogether.

Wow (yes they do say AND FLUTTER but I don't give a shit) effects the locking, not torque.
On an immature side-note, albeit one I can't resist attaching to this thread, is that Vestax have been installed at the most serious venue ever built: my bedroom. Beat that.

One more bump.
Will let them go for £300 with a selection of vinyl. You won't find a better deal! If you can, i'll better it.
They're going on e-bay in a week unless someone wants them!?!?!?
